Okay so I was doing some video editing in windows movie maker, so nothing special and started rendering or saving my video into video format so I could upload it. Now I went down to eat dinner and when I came back up, my computer was unresponsive and the screen was dark. Also, the Caps, Num Lock and scroll lock lights were flashing. Now, my computer started up without a hitch and I'm currently typing on it, but should I be worried for the integrity of my M15x?

Haha I hear ya bud I wish I could help ya more, but that is the extent of what I can tell you since I dono what exactly could have triggered it, that is what the error code given was a system board component failed.

If you have any OC on the CPU id drop them back down to stock other than that IDK.

I actually don't. I had an OC on the GPU @ 870/1050 but stopped a week ago and reflashed to stock bios after I started getting artifacts in windows itself and game crashes.

Well than just run it bud and enjoy that vacation gaming Don't stress about it, but keep an eye on it to see where during the rendering it failed next time (if there is a next time) just call dell and tell them that it gave you that error code.

Actually I found out the rendering never actually failed. It happened after the rendering cause my video was in my files and I could watch the complete thing.

Interesting hmmmm..... that makes it even more odd, but like I said just enjoy that gaming session and if you have another hiccup even if it comes back on fine I would call dell.

I've had something like this happen to me once or twice.

I've never bothered to call in since it doesn't happen often at all.
