    My CPU fan is grinding and needs to be replaced, and I can't find anywhere that seems legit to buy a spare one online. Any ideas?

    Called alienware, they said they wont sell me any parts unless I buy a warranty from them for ~$300...

    you should call again. Someone there will sell you parts. If not, then you should complain to a higher up. The sales rep was likely trying to make a sale. They do get paid on commission......
