    Hey guys I was playing BF 3 wit my 6990m and then all of a sudden the screen turned white then went back and then turned white again. I figured it was the gpu so i switched in my old 460m and the screen was normal and then it turned white again and stayed that way.

    any ideas??

    Check your LCD screen connector; probably the connector is going bad or the ribbon is damaged. ( LCD "flex" cable ) Several different things can cause this problem but this is a place to start.
