    I have a Alienware M15X with Wifi Intel 5300 AGN. I don't know family of IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n wireless .. ???

    My router is Router wireless EDIMAX BR-6574N and support 300mbps


    But the connection appear me with 54mbps ... and i want to make smaller.

    How to ?

    Be sure you are using WPA security on the router, and check to be sure that it is configured to permit N access. Then try connecting again. speeds with N connections will vary, but should be more than 54mbps.
