    Hi all,

So my GPU in my Alienware 17 died recently. I desperately need to get some work done on it. I still have my M15x sitting around. It has a gtx 460m inside it. Would I be able to just take it out and stick it in my AW17? I have no idea if this is compatible or not?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on the model. You need an MXM 3.0B slot. What specific AW 17 model is it?
