    hi guys!! Just found out my win 7 nd m15x [just formatted i.e freshly installed] going weird!

    sometimes it will boot up in 800x600res :mad: !!
    and even my brightness setting sometimes(just happened once)doesn't work properly!!

    any fix for the above problems?

    driver v270.61

    i do not know about the boot at 800x600 res,

    but the brightness setting get stuck sometimes when comming out of sleep, i have experienced it in many dell systems.
    my screen is set to "do nothing" when closing the lid. i just close the lid and open it back, once the screen comes back up, you will have brightness control back. this is the method that has always worked for me.
