Really just this. I know there are official drivers there. Probably gonna need to mod an inf to get the drivers working if I get windows 10 installed at all.

For now, win 10 is blocking me because of my 680m.

I'm running into the same exact issue with my 680m. Was told over a month ago when I first reserved it that my PC was compatible with Windows 10, and then this happens at release.

Might try swapping it with my 460m tomorrow to see if I can at least get the OS installed before swapping back to the 680m and installing drivers.

We knew this day would come! I wonder if the GTX 970M people are doing any better. This is one of the main reasons I wanted to wait to see if 970M works on Win10 before considering buying one.

Happy to say my M15x is running Windows 10 as of this morning!

I didn't end up having to swap my GPUs after all. Instead, I ran this application: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

I will mention that my 680m is unsurprisingly listed in Device Manager as 3D Video Controller. Will try updating drivers later today and update this post if successful.

Edit: Successfully installed 353.30 Nvidia drivers! The .inf modding process was no different from before. Just had to make sure to disable Driver Signature Enforcement during boot like you normally would for Windows 8/8.1.

Friends, no worries! I was exactly with the same problem with the mx 680m, but I did the following procedures:

    1. Uninstall completly the Nvidia drivers, so windows will revert it to the Generic VGA Driver
    2. Change the date of your PC to 1 month later
    3. Wait or go to the Scheduled Tasks, Windows, Windows Experience (something like that, I dont remember now because im not in my PC) and run the Task manually
    4. Just go to the Windows Update, and make it search for updates. It will Download Windows 10 :D

To install Nvidia Drivers on Windows 10, follow this procedure:

Enjoy Win 10! I did a 3D Mark bench with windows 10, the score is 15% better. Im really loving it! :)

You can also download Windows 10 as ISO or to an USB device here.
