Not really relevant to the M15x, but I have updated my Home Premium license to a Professional license, since I needed to add my laptop to a domain.

I can't find any documentation or receipts for this, but I think I paid about £35 to do it.

Does this now make the key I have, stuck to the bottom of my laptop, a Windows 7 Professional key?

    Not sure how it works.......

No, the key on the bottom of your M15x still a Home Premium.
The key for Windows 7 Professional should be shipped to you by email or mail.

    Did you lost that number?

Yeah, I did, but to be honest it only cost £35 and if I did loose it I'm not really bothered. I simply cannot remember the whole process of what I did, just that I did go through it and upgrade to pro!!

    Nevermind!
