Yeah..I've been thinking to get Razer Orochi for wireless mouse without any receivers to grab one of my USB space.

Or do you recommend any other that is best to go with Alienware ?

Maybe Alienware TactX ? Better than Orochi ? or Anything else ?

    Suggestions Appreciated. Pros and Cons.

    Cheers!

I recently got a Orochi for my P150HM and I really like it. I may be kind of bias though because this is my first laptop and gaming mouse I've ever had. I've only had them for 3 days but so far I really like it. It's kind of small but I think I have about medium size hands and it still feels very comfortable. I think you can only play games in wired mode though because I heard in Bluetooth mode it lags a bit too much for games. I always use it in wired mode anyway so that's not really a con for me. Also the fact that it lights up is pretty cool also.

So does that lag in normal use as well ? When using movie editing softwares and programming stuff ?

If i wanted to go for wire.. i think of tactx. But do you think its good ?

I have large hands and my Logitech performance MX has treated me very well for the past year. It has a really comfortable shape, but probably my favorite feature is the tiny usb dongle that barely sticks out from the port. Never had any problems with lag or a lousy signal, even when hooked to my tv and i'm across the room. I think the newer model of mine is the Logitech G700, which i'm sure is just as good. Also the USB included with mouse works with there line of keyboards and stuff so you only use one USB port. Now with the G700 out you can probably find a pretty good deal on the Performance MX though.

In wired mode the response time is approx 1 ms which makes it a true professional gaming mouse. I prefer using this mode.

In wireless mode - it lags by design cause of the Bluetooth used and response time goes up to 7-8 ms. In this case its just a mouse and not a fast gaming mouse.. this mode also eats batteries

i like the orochi, i use it for cad work on the go, and i have no problems with it.
as far as for gaming i use a roccat kova its wired (cuz i could get my hands on a kova+ at the time). its pretty nice and looks great along side the lappy. for me 1600dpi is enough (it can go to 3200dpi) i like it more than the deathadder.

I almost went with the Orochi but it was too small for my paws, went with the G700 cause Razer is getting away from the ambidextrous mice they used to make. Really sucks that they're going that route cause I really loved my Diamondback but my son ate through the cable. :(

    Thanks guys,

Right now im thinking of alienware tactx or orochi for my budget.

So you're saying the orochi wireless is pretty good for browsing, office work. and wired is best option for gaming ?

I have a small-medium sized palm. so i didn't want to go for mamba wireless. i heard that beast is for bigger palm and heavy.

I use the new Deathadder(wired ofc). Love it. Previously had HP voodooDNA which I liked even better until it died on me. But I got 1,5 years out of it.

No the Orochi is not rechargeable, but if you use it just for browsing and stuff and not gaming I heard the batteries can last a really long time like 6 months to a year.

Malibal are Clevo resellers. Same as Sager, ExoticPC etc. Check the sager-clevo section. Lots more info. They are the only company that directly competes with Alienware. They have a more conservative design, no flashy lights etc. It pleases some but not others :) honestly for me, once you've been abducted, you never go back :D

Sorry guys.. for my budget. I'm going for the Japanese snake!! yes that's right.. The Razer Orochi. Since its bluetooth wireless/wired. I can use either.

I heard pretty bad reviews about mamba oldversion, that lacks of wireless connectivity when wake up from stanby/idle.
