Worth it to upgrade from 5730 to 5850 now? And how to sell off?

    Hello,

I am contemplating to sell away my ATI Mobility 5730 for a ATI Mobility 5850 (GDDR 5).. I've done numerous purchases and sales locally within my country, and also purchases from other countries, but I've never done any selling overseas. Any things that I should look out for?

Also, is it wise to upgrade to a 5850 now, considering there's 6970 already? I've already called up Dell earlier this morning, the sales rep quoted me ~SGD485 for that.. whereas I saw a few people selling for like 300 (assuming thats USD, ~SGD380 after conversion) I know with the cheaper option I risk not having warranty, but is that worth the risk?

Thanks in advance :) Might not be appropriate place to post this thread though, but the system that's using my 5730 now is a Dell Alienware m15x

If you want warranty with your system then get a 5850 from Dell - it would improve your performance drastically - or if you want the best GPU for your system without it, go for the 6970. Wouldn't get one without warranty only for 80$ discount

    Thank you for replying.

Yes, I though it over and was also leaning towards the Dell 5850 choice.. Can say I'm pretty much made up for it now. The only problem now for me is how to ship my 5730 over should I sell it away.. meh

Oh well, I'll need to go over to a local forum for this. Thanks again :)
