Just do it yourself. Sand the old paint off, cover all ports and the screen with painters tape. Spray the Laptop with a good primer, then choose a good quality paint to spray it. Did the lit of an Dell XFR like this, as long as the paint is good quallity it turns out very durable. It will also save you about $400. I ended up using a textured paint when the old rubberized paint got scratched and peely:

Edit: I also did my friends M11x r2, which I used rubber port covers like these to protect the ports instead of tape and it worked real well: http://www.ebay.com/itm/DiYForce-Du...US_Motherboard_Backplates&hash=item256ca6bc4b

I believe Mr. Fox does those type of jobs, you should ask him on a PM.

I would recommend you get in touch with brother Fox. .....I believe it's to pull apart yesterday your entire system and then repaint the chassis ....maybe even heat it to make sure the paint gets baked ....but I don't have the full details

If elflegolas doesn't want that mod kit I might be interested. I'm based in London so postage should be cheap.

I'd kill for the pot of paint, spray, or whatever i need to repaint and leave my "nebula red chassis" as new ^-^
Does that color tone exists? (i.e. Spray ). I mean for the general public. Where could get Nebula red tone if it were possible?
    That would be great :D

i would like to thank widezu69 for the kind offer but as i have mentioned i was after both the base and back cover being in yellow and as tempted as i am, and with the aid of my annoying "know it all father inlaw" i have found a very very local powder coating company that will powder coat my laptop for £20 in whatever colour i wish :D so i shall be popping down today and have them take alook at it before giving me a timeline on completion.
again thankyou widezu69 for your kind offer. but im sorry to have to say no thankyou. :(

ok got my base and back cover back. yes its yellow :D brighter than i originally wished but still looks very nice. but it seems the powder coating wasn't perfect and has some slight bubbles in it, which i have taken pictures. i must admit i was disappointed at first when i saw it, but its still alot better than it was before the powder coating, so im happy :)

Man looks awesome! I have to agree it is slightly too bright a yellow but still its now unique! I'd love to follow in your footsteps and get mine powder coated but it seems too much effort right now.
I'm currently working out how to put in bright LEDs underneath the laptop so it looks like those cool neon lights under modded cars.

pictures actually make the yellow look brighter than it actually is to the naked eye, i guess i had the flash on the camera... oh well the colour has grown on me now and i actually really like it more than i thought i would.
its just a shame it bubbled on the base on the sides, but again i took the pictures to show the bubbling which actually makes it look worse than it actually is. what i get using a bloody good camera.
oh well my new bezel is ordered so i can finally get rid of them few slight scratches from the screen cover either thou it wasn't effecting the screen whatsoever but was around the screen on one side (top right) but im damned if im gonna buy a new palmrest just for the rubbers :(

i like the idea of leds underneath but its something i will not do myself personally. but would love to see it completed once you've done it.
