    Hi

Is it possible to get an aftermarket screen for the m15x? I'm hoping for a decent price full hd, but a hd might be nice too. My current screen has some scratches in it :/

If you are still under warranty, why don't you call dell? They'll replace it for free. Just a thought.

Dell wouldn't replace unless accidental damage cover was taken out.

Scratches don't just magically appear, and aren't a fault.

You can find the whole lid assembly for reasonable prices on ebay if you're lucky. The LCD panel itself won't be of any use, since it's the "glass" that's scratched.

    @ jarv.
They might replace it if your rubberthings on the palmrest fell off and that resulted in scratching when closing the lid

Any idea what I can search for? I haven't been able to find anything at all, and I have been looking.

I can find the rear cover, and the lcd displays, but not the "glass" in front.

Yep, this should work, nice price. It's easier to exchange the whole lid instead of the LCD panel.

Is it possible to do only the LCD panel though?

I'm trying to sell it :p, and the buyer has decided he needs a new screen. So I'm trying to figure out what the cheapest price can be. So I can get as much as possible for my m15x ;)

Well, not the panel itself... check the service manual, page 78... you can see the lcd is together with the "glass"... if you find such a piece on ebay it will work, but I haven't seen one for sale atm. And I don't think it will be much cheaper since it will only work for the M15x.
