after more than 2 years of my happy time with my lovely M15x, this is most notable issue I have encountered so far beside horrible battery life and a terrible touchpad:

yes, all of my rubber pads below are loose with the highlighted are the worst. I remember last year when only 2 of them were loose and it wasn't as bad as today.
I have contacted Dell hardware support and they implied that they currently couldn't do anything if my warranty period has ended :(

I reckon the pads couldn't withstand the weight of M15x, which result to loose pads. And if 5 kg of M15x is too heavy for these 4 pads, I wonder if M17x and M18x are having the same issue?

This is considered cosmetical damage and even the Accidental Damage warranty will struggle to cover it. I think that you can get those online and paste them there without an issue.

The M15x weight really should have no bearing on the pads getting loose. Only reason i could see why is if u drag your laptop around. In all honesty just by a dirt cheap keyboard and rip off the pads from the bottom and paste em on the M15x thats what i did for the missing pads that separate the screen/keyboard and cost me tops $2.
