    for some reason my screen keeps dimming the brightness down to the lowest automatically after every few minutes even if i bump it up. i checked the command center application and messed around with the auto dim stuff in there and nothings working. it's very bothersome. help! :/

    Mine only does that when on battery. Check that you are plugged in.
    Try fiddling with the powersettings outsice CC. Rightclick on the powercord/battery in the tray and play with the settings. It might help

    Ya, you can change the settings in the windows power profile. It's under display in the advance tab. I had this problem too when I first got it.
