Hey i just have a quick question for you guys. Im wondering with all power saver options possible on, what kind of battery life are you guys seeing? On my m17x r4 i get 5.5-6.2 depending on what im doing. Since its smaller, can the m15x get better battery life?

i highly doubt it since with the m17x r4 you can benefit from integrated graphics and with the m15x you have to rely on the gpu. im sure the m17x r4 can last many time longer than an m15x with the 9-cell battery ever could

The battery life on my M15x could only last 2 hours at most with a 9 cell battery (Non-gaming activities.)

That is the normal battery life time for this laptop due to the high amount of Power it needs to run all of its components, if you need some advice on how to take care of your battery you can refer to this article.

Yeah - I get about 20 mins on full charge with a 920xm and a standard 6 cell. Always been like that since it came out of the box.

It's the only thbing I don't like about the laptop - other than that it's a top machine.

Remember to press fn+f2 when your battery is fully charged, it stops it from over charging
