go into power settings and change the performance to high performance and make sure cpu % is 100. if you think its stealth mode effecting you.
otheriwse make sure you installed all drivers correctly and the latest ones, and do the usual checks for infections and so so. hope you get it resolved :D
dont forget to check the system temps also, make sure its not overheating.

The QS/ES Samples of the 940XM works just fine. In terms of performance its pretty much identical as the OEM chips and does not differ at all. In addition, its substantially cheaper too.

Hmm.. Strange you would get lags and freezes with Firefox. I wouldn't think the Stealth mode would effect that kind of operation (most people only notice Stealth mode when running games, or other GPU intensive apps). My guess is that there is something else wrong. Like a backround process running that doesn't need to be.

Have you considered a fresh install of Windows 7? Then after that, reinstall Firefox. My guess is that your problems will vanish, once everything is reinstalled. Don't forget to update your drivers too.
