Got 2 questions, probably fairly simple, but my brain just isn't working today.

For my gpu (in sig) in gpu-z (latest version) it shows fan at 30% but the fan speed at 360rpm which doesn't sound right. The voltage is only .9v, and this is after I was gaming for an hour or so. The temps are fine though.

As a comparison I had also checked hwinfo64 (latest version) that my fan is at 30% (pic 2, note 2), the fan speed is 360rpm (pic 2, note 3). But, in (pic 2, note 1) it shows GPU1 as having 4493 rpm which sounds more reasonable (highest rpm for fan i believe).

Anyone else have the fan speed show up significantly lower basically 10% of what GPU1 is showing? Also, my fan % never changes from 30%. Or could this just be a software error incorrectly reading or displaying the info.

    ----

The second question I had was I noticed in device manager (pic 3) that I have 2 drivers which are the integrated webcam and facap, fastaccess video capture. However, the fastaccess is disabled and I'm running on the integrated by default after a fresh OS install. Is one better than the other or is it fine to be using the integrated. Any benefit of either one.

Is there any preference of one being better than the other?

Actually i just found out that fastaccess video capture is related to Aliensense feature that can enabling face detection login feature..., so it supposedly active on login process, and will disable by itself after logon... It's kind like virtual hardware...

as per my M15X, i disable aliensense so i have no problem with this fastaccess video capture...

more reference here : FastAccess FAQ - I see a new camera in the Windows Device manager called FaCap. This computer only has one camera?.what?s the second one?

The M15x ATI on-die sensors used to report the percentage fan use and associated RPM's are defective; they always show 30% regardless of the actual level of fan activity in GPU-Z, parts of HWiNFO64 and most other utilities. The fan RPM's in HWiNFO64 in the Alienware M15x EC section are based on EC fan controllers and are the correct readings.

Ya I started to have a feeling the gpu-z reports were incorrect because I was having great performance out of the card with low temps. Guess I just needed reassurance, thanks!
