Ive seen a guide on here (but cant find it again) on what programs to install first and in the right order after a system restore.

after trying everything on this paperweight of a computer i am going to do ANOUTHER system restore with hopefully the correct and in order drivers to install.

failing this its going on eBay!!!!!!

    1. R293649 the BIOS update i ran it all smoothly intill the end where i got a message saying " Flexbronucs EC flash utility ver 1.00, The sytem will be powered off after flash the EC. Do you want to flash EC? 'Y'/'N'" not sure what to do but either way it says bad command if i input y or n?

    d) Intel_Turbo-Boost Technology_AOO_R274365 "This computer does not meet the min reqirments for installing the software?!! (kind of thinking this is the root of my performance issue?!)

for the bios i believe u need to enter this at the bad command prompt DFLASH EC_W670.118 than the rest of the flash should run smoothly. im going to be perfectly honest with u, if u dont know what your doing than you really shouldnt be doing this. or at least get more knowledge before u jump off the cliff. for one your trying to install drivers that u dont even need..... your installing bluray and dvd drivers, and im fairly sure u dont have ssd(from your previous thread) so why would u even try installing that. u dont need turbo boost driver or datasafe, oh and r293649 is the bios..... its on your post. i would suggest u read thru batboys guide many times and get a complete understanding of it and also make sure u know the components that your laptop consist of before trying this again. your only doing more harm than good to that m15x, being ill informed
