Hey guys, I was browsing around on ebay and I saw this Alienware M15X Broken | eBay for 200 bucks is this a good deal or not worth it? Just from looking at it, it seems like the video card is bad. Assuming that's what the problem was, would this laptop be worth picking up as a project to work on and upgrade the CPU/GPU in it and make it work again and run even better?

It looks a bit worn and it only has an Intel i3 processor. I guess if you're willing to take the risk and spend probably $500+ on it then its worth doing. It could definitely be revived as a beast!

Just purchased an M15x off eBay last week. Perfect condition all I had to do was replace the hard drive and cycle the cmos battery and all is well. Paid $255 for it and couldn't be happier using it to write this.
