    Hey,

i have a m15x, 8800m GTX and Win7 64-bit. I'd like to install the latest graphic driver (270.61), but it doesn't work (BSOD or Code 43). It seems i'm not the only one with this problem. Did anyone find a solution?
Background is that i want to start programming with CUDA. Therefor i need a later version of the graphic driver.

As an alternative i thought of using Linux (Ubuntu) and hoping that it works... Did anyone try using Linux? Wich graphic driver did you use? Can you give me advice on what to do best?

    Greetings,
    Johannes

Try to install it with the modded .inf files from laptopvideo2go.
Also check out the legacy section, there you find probably more help, this forum is all about the M15x with the core i7/5/3 CPUs.

There seems to be some incompatibility with the first gen switchable gfx and the new nvidia drivers.

Afraid you are stuck at 18x.xx drivers, there are some topic about this problem in the legacy section.
