    It must use SATA connection. It might very well be 7mm like my 470 though. Simply use the screws provided and secure it into the HDD caddy so it can slot into the SATA connector neatly.

    You did remember to yank the adapter off the old hard drive right? I have an OCZ Vertsomethingorother and it works like a champ but gotta yank that adapter.

    hmmm. I did a swap on my wife's new laptop and didn't need an adapter so i assumed the same. I'll have to look again. thanks!

    You need to take off the adapter as suggested above. It's for it to connect correctly.
