Try disabling Turbo Mode in BIOS, under Performance Options, save changes and reboot.
    See if that helps :)

firstly, is your bios the latest version A09 ? as the bios version you are running may not support that cpu... have you formatted your system after installation of the new cpu? IF NOT the system is setup for the older cpu. have you tried going into safe mode and uninstalling the cpu and rebooting so it reinstalls the new cpu correctly ?

my old cpu is the i3-330m so the 920xm must fit :)

Hmm, it was different for me.. I just changed mine recently without reformatting the drive and it was smooth sailing all the way, no hiccups or whatsoever. But it was from a 740qm to a 920xm.

The i3's and i5's have integrated graphics I believe. Perhaps your bios is expecting switching but obviously gets nothing.

A good way to flush the bios is to unplug the CMOS battery. When you open up it is the coin battery in the middle. Simply unplug along with all other power sources including main battery. Then hold down on button for 30 secs. Then install the batteries again, plug in mains and maybe it will work fine. ALso as suggested run in safe mode so that the cpu can "officially" install itself in windows.

How do you mean its install itself I run into safe mode and then?
If I run into safe mode I checked cpuz but I´m not getting al the info, I see only the name of my cpu (no clock and cache info)
I checked also in safe mode the temps core 1,2,3 and 4 are 70°c
I have also 8gb of ram but the 920xm only recognized 4gb of ram:s
I also tried to format but after windows loading files I get a black screen.
Its really strange because I put now my old cpu i3 330m and everything works fine.

firstly, reset your bios please. switch off, remove battery and base cover. press and hold the on button to drain the mainboard. then remove the coin cell battery from the motherboard. once done reconnect everything. your cpu temps are rather high so i would repaste and make sure you screw the heatsink down tightly. run memtest86 to check to see if any of the sticks of memory is faulty as you have now mentioned you have 8GB but only 4GB is showing to see if a stick is dead, otherwise simply remove a stick of memory and see if its seen in the bios and then check the other stick in same way. as has already been pointed out, you have moved from a i3 cpu which has its own gpu onboard to a cpu that has not without i would guess resetting the bios, also the operating system is setup using that i3 cpu forwhich you have now installed a i7 WITHOUT onboard gpu, as such its best to go into safe mode if poss and uninstall the cpu and reboot to install correct cpu drivers correctly ( i know you have attempted to format so it makes this last sentance nul and void now ) but it is info you need to know in the future. let us know how you get on please so we mite help further :)

Ok lol I tried what you said but now I cant even run safe mode.
This is what I did -> switch my m15x off, take out battery, disconnect the cmos battery, hold down power button for 30sec, change the cpu from i3 to i7, change the memory (back to the original), put the battery back and close the case.
bios recognized my memory I put 1 ram of 2gb in my system
But it still freezes at windows logo and now I cant run in safe mode:s
I press f8 but notting I can choose for 2 options
    1.System repair or start windows
If I do a system repair I got a loading bar en then I get a black screen.
2.Start windows same problem it freezes after Windows logo.
I dont know what to do anymore:s
Can it be a bad cpu?
I´m still using my original charger 150w
I find it strange that I cant even run safe mode:s

Hmm. Perhaps you ought to return the chip and claim it is faulty. Ask for a replacement. Highly unusual though. Intel CPU:s are super reliable. When you take it out and clean the die check the die surface if it is scratched or dented it is very likely it is damaged. Mobile CPU:s dont have the metal IHS over the top so the die is much more vulnerable to knocks and scrapes.

Sorry to hear of your problems.

Now I tried with the old cpu to go into msconfig and turn on safe mode.
Put back the 920xm and now it works in safe mode but I can't format.

If I understand correctly you still haven't formatted your windows partition, is that right?
One rule of thumb I learned with desktop PC CPU switches, is that more than half the time, you'll have to reinstall windows after the switch. Symptoms are identical, freeze or restart at windows logo, no safe mode, issues with partitioning and others.
Stick the installer disk / key / whatever in and reinstall. If it doesn't work even then, that's when you should rma it. Although first having a friend try it would also be a good idea.
Out of curiosity, how much did you pay laptopmonkey for it?

I tried to format with the 920xm installed but after windows loading files bar it freezes with a black screen.
The lights off the keyboard still work, all the lights still working.
I format it with the old cpu i3 330m. that goes like normal.
    price cpu 310$ incl shipping.

It could be a bad processor. Ask for a replacement and give that a try.
