    Hey guys,

    I have a m15x with a dell 370 bluetooth card. The only way the card works is with the Broadcomm stack. The broadcomm stack lacks the ability to connect to certain devices that I have, the Microsoft stack has no issues connecting/pairing these devices.

    If I uninstal the broadcomm software from control panel the entire bluetooth device disappears. Doesn't appear in device manager.

    Is there a way to fix this? I'd realy appreciate the help.

    For one, a Wii remote, PS3 remote, and some other stuff, the broadcomm stack finds the devices but doesn't allow them to be paired properly.

    Found out that the Alienware drivers for the card are old and infact the ones on the SXPS 1647 Page are newer and include a firmware update that allows it to recognize the devices I added above.

    -will be updating another thread on M15x burnt FX board- but it applies here too-;

    Today a Professional Tech replaced my FX board (burnt from reloading drivers from the supplied disk). I commented my bluetooth mouse no longer connects to my 1/2 card and he looked through my drivers, all correct. Then he made the ominous comment 'The M15x bluetooth card has high failure rates and I should call tech support (again).' Since the card failed the same time my FX board failed... Im wondering;

    Did you have a need to reload any drivers too??

    From experience;
