Hi guys, since a bad bios flash my m15x is bricked.

I 'm in the process of replacing the bios chip but I'm not 100% sure which chip is the good one.

Does anyone have a picture of the motherboard with the bios chip location marked?

    Thanks

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm guessing it is this little guy hiding under the little heatsink.

That's completely wrong. This is a BGA soldered chip with several hundreds contacts. Has been a while since I disassembled the M15x completely, but that's probably a part of the chipset.

You say you're in the process of replacing the chip... it seems you don't already have a chip, else you'd know for what you have to look. ;)

I do have the bios chip but there is multiple similar chip on the board so I don`t know which one is the good. My motherboard is naked, I know someone who can do the soldering, I`m not far from the graal... it`s a long path :)

even if , you find the bios chip and flash it with latest bios it wont work.
you need a full backup of bios that was backuped with spi programmer. then only you can make it work.
