I was in team fortress 2 and my temps raised to 88 c is that normal and also some other details is that I used winflash to flash the a0 BIOS on,but both before and after the flash it wouldn't show temps in hardware moniter? Only other programs

So temps are about 58-60 c idle
    88 c max in tf2

    Are these correct? Thanks

that seems a little high. I dunno how high the 5870 should idle, but not much higher than the 5850. Mine idles in mid 40'ies

pasting isnt the problem i think it might be the thermal pads, b/c i had to reuse alot... i ordered new pads, so ill repaste when i do those again to make sure tho.

actually a new issue just occured, stupid hdd status lights wont freaking light up anymore... they were fine when i first installed the gpu and now they stopped working again... i reformatted last time.. but there has to be another way...(ive tried powerdrain, the only method that works seems to be a reformat for now) but i dont wanna do a reformat again

Yeah, Those temps are normal as far as I'm aware.. I mean, my nvidia 460m idles at 40-50c & reaches temperatures as high as 92c when gaming..
