    Hello everyone,

I have a m15x 920xm 16gb and a firepro 6100m what is the max resolution that the external monitor DP can support? I have a lg ultrawide that can do 2580 x 1080 and the largest it can go is 1080p. The drivers are all installed correctly for the laptop and the monitor.

    Thanks for the help

M15x has DP 1.0 or 1.1 which can support 2560 x 1440 at up to 75hz. It should be good to output to your TV. See here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DisplayPort#1.0_to_1.1.

Perhaps you need to check the refresh rate setting on your TV. At that high resolution the DP would probably run out of bandwidth at anything above about 85hz. If your TV is trying to run at 120hz and you can change it to 60 or 75hz then do so.
