    Hello!

I seem to have run into a couple of usb & esata problems which I have not noticed until now (because I mostly ignored these ports on my dell m15x).

First, the upper right usb seems to have a speed problem. I have discovered a couple of other posts on the web reporting the same issue (but none on this forum, as far as I can tell). Specifically, it seems to reduce substantially write/read speeds, from the typical 25-30 mb/s to some 14/10. I have tried two devices (an external hdd and a corsair gtr) and both exhibit the same behavior. The other two usb ports (the left one and the combo) work perfectly fine. Latest intel inf & rapid storage installed, btw, but the problem is there without IRST.

The second issue is related to the combo port immediately below it, which disconnects periodically (every hour or so) only to connect back immediately thereafter. I have a docking station / replicator stuck into it - I would use the usb above, but that limits my transfer speeds as explained previously - and it's frustrating to lose my mouse, printer, external hdd etc. once every once in a while. Needless to day, the dynadock works fine on two other notebooks it's been hooked on.

The thing is I need to use the dock on one of the right ports due to both cable and desk room constraints.

So... does anyone know anything about this?
