Hey guys, new to this website and have been doing a little research over upgrading my m15x. Im big on racing games, however I dont have the sufficient hardware to play. I am currently on 6gb ram, i7CPU @1.73GHz. If you guys can give me a little advice and upgrading tips, I appreciate it lots. :) I am also on a 400 dollar budget. Thanks.

If you are willing to save a little more and work with around a ~$500 budget, you can get a lot more bang for your buck. You can get a Core i7-920XM CPU and an AMD 7970M or 8970M for around that much. The CPU should be around $200-220 and the GPU should be around $280-320. If you have the stock AC adapter (150W) you may need to look into a very cheap L-shaped adapter for the pin mod to unlock the power of it. (look in the M15x forum, it's all over here!)
