    not even two weeks after receiving my m15x, the touchpad, wireless card and alienfx have stopped working. It overheats minutes after startup, and it just pissed me off so much.

    So i called up dell, gave them the rundown, and they let me return my m15x in exchange for an m14x.

    Lol. You're actually lucky. the M15x was outdated months ago and the M14x will serve you much better in terms of battery life and size.
    Power wise it might be a little lacking, but it's still powerful. I hope you like the M14x. :D

    You should ask for an M17x R3. The M14x isn't really upgradable in terms of graphics.

    If you can afford the extra $300 I'd pay for that for the m17x r3, the m14x is a great laptop - but the m15x is a better laptop, so going from the m15x to the m14x personally i think your downgrading. the move from m15x to m17x would be an upgrade. problem is it's a bigger laptop, so things to consider is. do i need a portable laptop? battery life important? then maybe the m14x would be better. im sorry to hear that your m15x was garbage, the one im currently using is awesome, no problems at all.

    in the end of the day bro it all depends on you, and what your going to be doing with it :D

    anyways bra here's my 10 cents...my 2 cents is free, who sent you sent you sent for me?

    Off Topic: Quoted for the awesome eminem reference. hahaha.

    On Topic: I would view the m14x as a downgrade, and would have shelled out the extra 300$ for the m17x r3 even with the bigger size.

    @Sacred_User

    Good catch bra, thought no one would get it...

    @IIAMRFJII

    I'd personally keep the hat, tell them that you never got one for the gecko - they cant do/say anything...

    But anyways bro yeah the m14x should be straight for you then.

    ...I just hit vtec yo...

    I've been there before and I can confirm that you don't need to send back the hat or any other thing that came along with ur system. You can even keep the Win7 DVD and the manual. You just have to send the laptop and the power adapter, that's it.

    Personally, I'd go for the M17xR3 but it all depends on preferences. I mean it's not called a PC for nothing eh??!?! :D

    tbh, i would never go with the m17x due to how if i wanted something that big and un-portable, then i wouldve got a desktop

    ?
    The M15x is similar in size to the M17xR3 if I'm not mistaken.
    The M15x is basically a 17" laptop with a 15" screen, no?

    ^^^ yup, you said it. The size difference b/w a M15x and a M17xR3 is negligible.

    Wait, so when we receive replacements we need only to send back the power brick and the laptop?

    We can keep the manuals and whatnot?

    NO WAY!

    Keep it. Wear it in public. See how long it takes before somebody beats you down.

    We love our hats. It's the next best thing to writing "I'm a cretin, mug me" on a £50 note and taping it to your forhead. Which, incidentally, is a great laugh. I do it all the time.

    (But seriously, donate the hat to charity. Or give it to somebody you really don't like)

    Ya, you just need to return the Laptop and the power brick...that's it. The rest of the stuffs like Hat, mouse-pad, Stickers, DVDs are yours to keep. :D I've returned my system three times so I know what I'm saying. You could probably sell the Win7 DVD on e-bay or something.... Lol...just kidding.

    Wait.......Or Am I...??? ;)
