I did a fresh install of windows 7 home, and I have all the drivers installed except one. I can't for the life of me figure it out. Tried using various driver identifier programs, the site zhangduo.com, and just simply update driver button, but no luck. The worst part is under hardward_id there is no vendor name. Screenshots attached.

That is probably either the Intel Management Control Center (R298408) or the Realtek PCIe Card Reader (R298414) or Freefall Sensor (R298409), whichever is not already installed.

I've got the freefall sensor. I don't have the Intel Management Control Center Driver (i'm guessing its the same as the intel matrix management), if so when I tried to install I was told I have a newer version already installed. As for the Realtek PCIe driver, I couldn't find it on the dell driver page.

Then that won't be it either. I'll have to check further.

dutchess63 ftw!...the driver you linked to was for vista64 and xps line...but I just went to M15x and downloaded the infrared driver. Nonetheless you were spot on about the driver :D
