    red little x on the bottom left of POST screen when entering BIOS

    so, after I installed the new LCD display for my m15x, I started to notice that the machine stopped recognizing mouses (both my wired m600 and my gf's wireless genius mouse) but other usb devices like ufd or phones still works as well as audio jacks. Then after messing around to flash the bios to A09, it won't boot with the ufd and then the windows started doing some repair without success but it won't let me boot normally into windows or safe mode either.

    Were you able to figure this out? First time I've ever seen this. Maybe a re-flash of the same BIOS is warranted.

    thanks for your reply but I've managed to get rid of it by flashing to A09 Unlocked BIOS from the A01 that the computer store I sent to repair the monitor reverted to.
