    Hey guys,

Anyways, I already know my options are quite limited, but here I go with my tale. So couple months back I dropped my laptop and hard drive decided to crap out, so obviously I replaced it. Now, this is where it gets tricky, I want to restore my system to the factory settings but I don't have the discs and obviously I don't have a factory image to restore to. If anyone has any help or any other solution, that would be much appreciated. There is the odd chance, I find the discs but I recently moved, so I doubt it.

Oh, also if I do get my hands on a disc, can anyone list the steps to restoring my computer. I have never actually booted a system back with windows on a disc. I know your supposed to install the drivers and what not. Just not sure on the order.

    Thanks.

I have read over this and still am a bit confused on the process, I mean it seems simple enough. I might just get a friend to help me out!

If someone can give me a little bit clearer steps on which drivers to exactly install would be much appreciated i'll post my specs.

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 740 @ 1.73GHz, 1730 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Not sure what else you need :) Sorry I'm a noob. I just forgot when I got my new hard drive to make a system recover image. :(
