    laptops only been charging when i wiggle the power button about, now its just saying "plugged in, not charging"

    gonna take it to a local laptop repair place, here in glasgow, scotland, but can i help him out by getting the correct hardware for him?

    anyone know where i can get the correct piece?

    You can get it from ebay and they r quite cheap.

    To save on time, get the model that has the Cable attached, with the pigtail. Its actually quite easy to swap yourself ...

    Ebay would be the way to go in this case. You can also try calling your local DELL sales dept.

    ok gonna buy one of these but 2 questions:

    1) whys it easier with the cable attached?

    2) whats diference between DW316 and slightly more expensive dw323?

    will either or work?
