Make sure you don't have stealth mode enabled. It's the most right button on the touchpanel, the one with the speedometer symbol. When it's activated it's a little bit brighter... press it a couple of times and you'll see whether it's activated.

It's easy to activated it accidentaly, it will slow down the whole system to safe battery. Here's a little program which helps you to automatically deactivate it and which makes it easier to recognize whether stealth is on or off.

I personally never had this problem. What is your specs? Maybe your stealth mode on? But i doubt even if it is on, it will affect typing on the internet.

    Edit: Svl7 so fast.... xD

Right click on the YouTube video screen, select settings and disable hardware acceleration. See whether that improves your situation.

the system automatically down clocks once unplugged that why stealth mode doesn't work. stealth mode is just a power saving mode when you don't need all that power, like working with words or just browsing, also when you have a lower rated psu stealth mode allows you to still use it.
