hey guys so i was wondering how i could use throttlestop to use less power from my 920xm when on battery. do i just check the battery saver option? also would my cpu be able to run 26x across all cores even if throttlestop is not even turned on? thanks

Hi mate, im guessing you can just use the battery saver option, or just adjust the core multipliers to stay at around 9-13 or something. Im pretty sure once you save the multipliers to whatever you like that is what they stay as, whether you have tstop turned on or off or not even have it open at all. I have mine set at 24x across all cores and im pretty sure it stays like that even when i dont have tstop open

Edit: Just tested, you must have tstop open in order for you cores to stay at 26x but you dont have to have tstop turned on

This is the thread you want for these questions.

As for battery, I just set mine to use 9x only while on battery. That's the easiest way to make sure it's using the least power possible.
