    Hi Bros and Sis,

can we turn on or use AW without using a dedicated GPU, my friend did flash but uses the wrong VBIOS he suspect the VBIOS that he used is not the MXM VBOS but the Onbord VBIOS AW15, as a result when he turns on the laptop the display screen is only black. but the laptop working. we can hear the sound and enter the windows.

he already trying to connect with external monitor but is not worked.

Is there a way to fix or flash the GPU because there is no screen at all?

Please need a advise whether friends have experienced the same thing

It depends on the laptop, the M15x has no dedicated GPU

in fact the case that happened to my friend was the same as that explained on youtube the following is just the difference this happened on AW15X, on our desktop there are still several options to re-flash again.
    the following link below :

So from your experience it means that the GPU can't use it at all or in other words there is no way to fix it? :(

Well you can't boot of the integreated graphics as it doesn't exist in this laptop, you would need a laptop with one

Just create a blind flash USB with correct VBIOS. Probably need to remove HDD to get USB to select to boot first and have a batch file to execute the flash.

Like said earlier, PM55 chipset there is no integrated Gpu.

I don't think soo because if we put the GPU and trying to turn on, during the POST the screen only black means no sign at all. so we cant select and F2 or F12 key.

I see on your last post that it is a GTX 980m GPU, maybe you will try to use an old video card for the moment. Or would something like this would work?
