Hi, My M15x is out of warranty I think. But I noticed one of the black bumpers that pads the screen when you close the notebook is missing. Do you know where I can get another one of these?

    Thanks

They usually don't sell separately. Replacing the whole palmrest is your best bet. What you can do after is sell off the old one :D

You need contact Dell for a quote on a new palmrest or you could purchase it online.

You can buy it from PCHub.com for $13.16 without shipping. I bought the GPU fan not so long ago and the fan was in excellent condition and the delivery time was average (I chose the least expensive option). Hope this helps :)

I just took the rubber pads from the bottom of an old keyboard and cut them to the proper size. Cheap and functional.

There must be atleast 10 threads about this single issue.

It has happened to me 2 times, and both times I called dell, who sent a tech to replace the palmrest :p
