Hey guys, sorry if this has been posted before, I used the search but couldnt quite find the.answers. I have an M15x that is soo frustrating, It cant even surf the.web. I cant dl alienrespawn, so I have to use my disk to reformat. If I do this, will I lose all ny alien ware stuff? And if so, is it easy get it back? And all the other things like graphics card recognition? Again, im a noob with these things.

DON'T use the OEM Command Center disk. It will cause your keyboard and other FX lights to stop working. Download it from Dell.

    1- Backup your personal files
2- Install Windows 7 using the AW disc (just the Windows 7 disc, NOT any driver or AW applications disc)
3- Download and install all your drivers and AW software directly from Dell
4- Run Windows Update for all recent critical updates (be patient, this will take a while)
5- Download Easus Todo Home Free edition or any other system imaging software and create an image of your M15X installation. Use this image in the future to restore your system.
6- Proceed with installation and restoration of personal data and applications.
