    can any body tell me if/will the x-bracket from a Nvidia gtx260m fit a Nvidia gtx560m ? thankyou.

    ok another question will the x-bracket for the NVidia cards fit ati cards ? i ask purely to keep my options open.

    No, the center square from NVIDIA backplates are smaller.

    @lannbot Thats not tru on all cards. I used my x-bracket from the 260m for my 5850m.

    Mmm I think my best bet is to simply buy a card with its x-bracket attached.

    To OP, according to page 16 of the gtx560m thread the x-bracket from the 260m works for the 560m.
