I wonder where all the accessories options are. Nothing really for game controllers, external displays, extra batteries, speakers, bags, or hats.
Kinda no frills really.
-
Yeah, without the hats, you can't game.

Its actually called Canada not Canadia, and that is no reason, it should be the exact same price, just translated into our funds, everything about this laptop was great until now, damn price gouging ****ers. -
Have you called them to find out why there is a difference?
Could any of it have to do with GST and PST? -
Can you return you M17 if its still in warrenty for a credit toward another purchase?
-
My head is too big for Alienware's hat (which seems to be form fitting for the Scout from Team Fortress 2). This makes me sad.
Too much sandvich. -
He said Canadia on purpose (i think)

No i havent spoke to them yet, im going to through the live chat feature any moment, also it doesnt have to do with the GST or PST thats tacked on at the end when the purchase is made, that will bring it close to 3000
a price this laptop definitely not worth.

One thing military members that order through AAFES have to make sure is that they get Complete Care. That is not an option on the AAFES site but could be an oversite. They should contact Dell to make sure.

I doubt he said it on purpose, what purpose would that serve? -
Hopefully they will put the M17x on the Alienware shopping "theme" or whatever you would call it.
-
You should feel lucky, a rig that costs 2,749$ in USA costs 5,023$ here in Sweden.
-
Is there an equivilant Canadian made laptop you could get for less?
-
...To make a joke...
-
The Cake is a Spy Notebook Enthusiast
No purpose. Just a little humor thing... I'll often refer to it by that, or Canada-Land. Just for fun, or just the way some people talk. -
Is the Complete Care option listed on the AAFES site? It's not on the EPP site.
-
UK =) (10 char)
-
@ Phinagle: No it's not. The prices for warranty on the AAFES site match up with the warranty prices on the normal Dell site with no Complete Care.

Wish they would let us "Candians" by direct from the US site so i can save 300 dollars.
-
Not to mention the AAFES
Can you stack the university with EPP?...and AAFES?
I doubt it, but itd be good to know if you can
-
can You Return An M17 For Credit Toward Another Aw Product
Someone Plz? -
mhmm, yeah, because going to university while working for Dell and being in the army is fairly common.
-
you wish. 15% restocking fee.
-
Whats so useful about "Complete Care" ?
-
heeee.. xD
-
Hmmm, You could be a Dell mailroom guy who is going to Texas U or doing online courses with Phoenix who is a Reservist who just got called into Active service to go to Iraq.
It could happen. -
I'd take the hit if I was within my first 30 days.
-
your avatar. the cup. read it
-
If you spill or a baby spills or a dog spills a drink on your notebook. They'll replace it.
Without it. You're crying over spilled milk. Literally. -
and the same 4200 USD rig cost a whopping 3800 GBP in UK, which translate into 6300 USD! ???! i dont recall VAT will add that much to a product. totally shattered my dream to own this laptop. i talked to a dell rep and he said the pricing info is correct for UK, but why is there such a HUGE difference in price compared to US??
-
Just figure out how to compound a few more discounts and A.W. will give you the laptop!
-
Ahhh, but it could happen.
-
Holy crap!
I should start a business buying rigs and selling them around the world. lol -

Same problem here in canada, the price with exchange doesnt add up, its way too much, just to give you an idea, base price US is 1799 with currency exchange that comes to 1949.99 canadian, but they are charging a 2199 canadian base price same specs, ..
I think we all need to complain to dell and show some dissatisfaction about the pricing outside of the US and get on their backs, hopefully they will lower the price to US levels + exchange/taxes and hopefully most of this is just honest errors that can show up with a new product release. -
Anyone figure out why there's no nameplate customization on dell's site anymore?
-
Sorry, Sager beat you to the punch.
Next thing you'll say, you sell them for Sager and call yourself something like, I don't know, Xotic. -
It's an error they were made aware of this morning (thank Mandrake) but we're still waiting on a fix.
-
it is on Dell's site, but not the EPP site. I have spent 3 hours on the phone tring to deal with this today
-
I seriously doubt it has anything to do with Dell or Alienware.
More than likely, it has something to do with international trade. -
Let me know when Xotic starts selling M17X's. lol
-
there was also a free shipping bug (even for next day) that was there. I cancelled my order with the free shipping to get it ordered over the phone with AW, but now they can't give me a discount without going on the EPP site.
-
I see it on Dell's and AAFES site so you can still do it.
-
Complete Care lasts...forever?
-
Well they do have M17s on their site.
Let me guess, you want me to do what my cup says too.
-
Only the length of your warranty.
If it lasted for ever, Dell couldn't keep notebooks in stock. -
If you keep renewing it forever yeah.
You pay for coverage like a warranty. -
Was that ESP? lol
Yeah but that's a Flextronics chassis anyone can rebrand. -
you kno it baby,
no buyers yet but im on ebay and i am getting stuck at the add to cart page on the EPP part
can any one tell me how much it will be for 1900 res and 260's SLI with the 7% off? I hate this site lol. -
also im writeing the guides i guess off the service manual lol
