    I think some of the older models of Toshiba, or at least the one my dad used to have 2-3 years ago had an on/off switch on the side.

    i dont think nvidia has made any announcement regarding that card so that card is still a myth.

    yeah the 9900 is just the placename for the future next-gen top of the line card. whether or not it'll belong to this 9-series generation or this HD line, time will tell.

    i doubt you would want a power button on the outside of the m15x anyways. the button is so sensitive that even if air blows on it, the computer will turn on >>

    if they started to put major buttons like that on the outside then they would have to impliment keylock features into the laptop to avoid accidental turn ons. it will never happen.

    so its not possible to use it in a fan cooled room?

    holy crap 8GB RAM!??!?! DDR3 !?!?!? and the CPU O-M-G: Extreme Quad Core QX9300 (2.53GHz/1066MHz/12MB) :eek:

    and there's a EVDO connection; now that's really gonna swept me off my feet!!! Im really gonna get this notebook :D

    Ok, how about this then... An expresscard remote that could be used to power on the laptop remotely. Surely that wouldn't be too difficult?

    My old amilo m3438 had such a remote with which I could boot the system and shut it down (very funny on LAN parties because two buddies had the same system :D )
