    when i bought it i paid yes more cash for the extended warrenty ...which moved me up to the same level as the rest of the smart people...lol....

    that is what i thought BUT when i gave them my service tag at first it was not alienware tech it was a division of them they called it...when i did pay for the better warrenty ...it bumped me over to alienware tech.....when they ran the trace of my system on where it was built (or put togther) it was not at there depot lab in tx...it was somewhere diff...and the subject was dropped...by them...almost like they were talking about it and was not suppost to...

    same parts but.....it has been proven that the batch numbers have seen some better then others....per example...the lcd screen issue they admit there was a bad batch that went out to most of the costco systems....i just think they make too many mistakes...expecially when u spend so much cash on them
