I would try a secure erase and -reinstall windows again
if that does not fix it, it maybe RMA time -
Can anyone confirm if this solution will work for the PM810 supplied with Dell Lattitude, I have Created the USb Bootable and put the firmware on the Stick... the reason i need to do this is because I claimed on my insurance for a new laptop but they allowed me to keep it as beyond repair, The drive is recognised in my desktop but will not initialze, Possibly because its Not a dell Board???....... I am not worried about losing the data..... but would like to be able to use this drive in my desktop... Cheers for any feedback

ther should be a firmawae for your PM810 on the samsung website or the Dell site if it came supplied with a Dell laptop. Then you would see any firmware updates listed for the model of laptop it was installed in.
They are done my model part number and firmware revision.
it should work on any computer. but a secure erase maybe what you need to try. -

mine is being controlled by nvidia dso i need to update through nvida or grab this update

SSD updates come from the manufacter of the SSD or is it is a OEM drive Such as the Dell SSD Drives, NVIDIA is a chipset maker, so you would not update the SSD drive with a NVIDIA update.
To secure erase a SSD drive you either a SSD tools program that is sometime supplied by various vendors, or you can do it using linux tools.
here is a linik from one site that I used for several different SSD drives, it works great.

I have an XPS1645 with a 256G Samsung SSD that had old firmware on it that did NOT support trim. I have now used the files linked above and successfully updated it and now it DOES support trim. I only did this when I had decided it needed a reload anyway, the speeds don't radically different now, and even after 2 years the drive had not significantly slowed, so I guess the garbage collection was doing it's stuff, but now has trim so should be even better going forward.
Thanks to all the contributors to this thread that helped me find this firmware. -
Hi there i have read the entire thread, but i can't manage to work TRIM to the VBM1AH1Q firmware of my MMCRE28G5MXP-0VBH1 128 GB.
It still says "No supported SSD(s) detected for firmware download" while trying to get the second option in the samsung update tool -
u may have to try flashing on a differnt computer, or different sata port.
Typically flashing software looks at Port 0
Also make sure the Sata port is set to either AHCI or IDE mode. -
thank you dave-p for your reply, i have checked settings and tried 2 differents computers, desktop and notebook, and the same message "No supported SSD(s) detected for firmware download" appears,
