That would line them up with E3, right?
-
E3 and/or Computex Taipei.

Dell Gaming Booth 2622
Better see lots of pics here that day. -
-
It's you. You're trapped in a time warp where 1 day for you is 10 days for everyone else.
-
Come on Dellienware time to leak something new for everyone to talk about!
-
Since it's Dell they should leak pics of the Crimson Red version of the laptop.
-
How about another appearance from mingocr83. He stuck around for a couple days, many people thought he was full of BS (me included) and now he's gone.
-
i guess he's done trolling...
-
Yeah but he had that wall paper so he's probably fine
-
Yeah come on guys....he did pull out the wallpaper thats been bled to death since.
ps, I though he was full fo bs too...lol -
Well he caused some commotion with those wallpapers. I just want him to leak something new.
-
he never leaked any thing im sure that they didnt want him to leak, dell does watch these forums to and you know it was good business to release something teasing as that
-
If they did I would assume they would have fixed the countdown by now.
-
maybe they dont care lol
i know i dont -
maybe they don't know...
-
who cares WE know
it is dell -
-
Maybe it's Memorial Day weekend.
I know I would be pissed if I got called into work on a holiday weekend to fix some stupid bug that wasn't at least causing Mass Destruction. -
Programming errors can be fixed remotely. It wouldn't take much effort.
-
added major update the reflect the arrival of a new wallpaper.
-
Nice summary, thanks.
-
Here's the tweaked version of the latest wallpaper:
-
if you follow the edge of the lid on the left you can see a small break in the lid thats what i have on my m17 where the skullcap is ....just throwing that out there
-
Hopefully they offer both. I'd like to take it out in public without people asking me if my notebook has anorexia.
Never got calling it skullcap either....they say skull but the lid is ribbed. ;þ -
got a pic of that for comparison?
also, can anyone decipher the characters in the screen?
EDIT: updated first post with pic. -

-
true, true. i did kick up some i7 dust towards the end, but beyond a d900f rebrand, that wasn't going to happen.
-
yea.... i still can't get over how big that heat sink is .......
-
You did well my minions
Bahaha...
By the way today is simply the best day ever, since I was officially extended a job offer during lunch and will be moving to Dublin at the end of July, after 3 weeks of training in Kansas City. Ill be working in Healthcare IT as a support analyst troubleshooting hospital software. Life is good right now
Oh and I get a company rig... I wonder what that will be. -
whooooooooooooooo
-
go sneaky
can you choose the company computer yourself? -
-
huh ???
did someone mentioned that dell will have their own incarnation of this all mighty m17x alienware notebook too ???
can some kind soul please confirm the above ...
since they took their xps 1730 from the same company - quanta ...
-
dell probably won't be selling any more Dell-branded gaming machines anymore... that'll be strictly AW.
-
ok dude this is THE only m17x
Dell owns AW and is going to sell gaming laptops through AW -
but will it show up on Dell's website. I want to use my epp.
-
Wouldn't be aimed at gaming but I still expect an Dell XPS 18.
-
13 14 15 16 17 18 ?
holy crap they have alot -
I was wondering if xoticpc will take the barebone from quanta and let buyers configure it ...
???
-
lol no my friend you have alot to learn.
this is an exclusive -
-
-
that just hurt my ol heart so much ...
i dont think i can take this much longer ...
sob ... sob ...
-
too bad ... i heard alienware after sales service is a bit hazy ... -
-
get any thing right
dell OWNs AW so they do carry the m17x -
-
the Dell XPS m1730 and the Alienware m17x are/were two different notebooks. Dell plans on utilising AW as the sole gaming brand, while Dell covers the mainstream, business and high-end sectors.
