I really think this will come back during the holidays. They had these 10-20-30 just this past April or so if I remember correctly and definitely some time in the future. My only question mark is will they allow people to get new coupons right away? I'll keep you in mind during the next promo!

Holidays, that means christmas? Maybe too long for me to wait though. Will see how much patience I got -
yea I trying to buy a gaming laptop for my son . Alienware 18 , MSI GT70 2OD-039 or Asus G750JH
Alienware is 1,000.00 more with the same customized spec when i try it. If dell giving out 30% coupon code for gaming laptop I buy it If not I will go with the other two. -
Bottom line is if you're happy with the others or your son is, nothing wrong with those other systems. Getting a deal takes time and patience and might not be worth it if it's for your son neither. -
Does this happen in the USA only or the UK too?

Offer does not apply to, and is not available with, systems or items purchased through refurbished items or spare parts. Purchase limit of 1 items per order.
coupons working today but promotion starting tomorrow -
took several tries but got a 20% off coupon
so now I have to decide whether it's worth canceling my existing order and saving an additional 10% off but wait longer to get my system... -
Please give me the coupon and get another. I'm without a PC!
Edit: making emails on my iPhone sucks. -
Makes me glad I bought a bunch of AW 17's with the last 30% off
-
How did you do that? It was supposed to be limit 1 per customer.
-
There is a loophole....that I wont mention
-
Anyone else having issues with Dell's site?
-
Same here.Site is probably getting hammered cause the new Aurora just came out.
-
-
I hate the fact that these coupons don't work with the AW17. I don't see why it shouldn't... Whoever is making up these rules and restrictions is hurting Alienware more than they're helping. Even if people get 5%, 10%, or even 20% off, you're still building revenue.

Look like its dead even if u have a valid coupon
-
-
-
I was able to apply it today so the system is working on my pc, or hopefullly for anyone looking to save a few bucks on a new purchase.
-
A rep told me the coupon is valid and should work, but there's something wrong with the system. They changed the way you acquire the coupon this morning during all of that downtime Dell was experiencing. He also said that he can get a manager to verify it and apply the discount manually, if need be.
I'm awaiting his call tomorrow. -
-
-
First, I was told my coupon was expired, which is impossible. And then I was told the above... -
-
And also, when I goto that site, it says the offer has ended, LOL. -
really regretting not doing this Wednesday night now *sighs* -
Someone at Alienware/Dell is really screwing up this deal for them. Fired.
-
The rules are: the coupons are the worms and its up to you to be the early bird, because if you humming and howing about what to get.... its too late. Now your prepared for next time, so keep an eye on the coupon launch and jump all over it.

Not sure for this specific case, but I see a LOT of dell coupons have that verbage where the promo lasts till so and so or until the code is redeemed enough...I've also had personal codes mailed to me in those paper ads in the mail and the code would expire when I try it...(typically not right away however).
Sorta like newegg, I don't think the reps are lying and they probably have a limit on the number that can be redeemed. -

Dell outlet has a 25% off coupon right now. It will expire on the 20th of this month.

I just got a Dell mystery code, good for 15% off. Along with the 5% dell advantage account means 20% saving. Ends 6-2-2014:hi2:
-

Just used the coupon to purchase an AW18 i7-4810 256mSATA boot, w 3 year warranty. The Dell advantage was only good for 4% but it saved me 19%. Total was about $2150 before taxes after 19% discounts. Killer deal for a backup system. I like the large clear screen on my AW18 I currently have with a i7-4930 CPU.The coupon had to be redeemed by 6-2-2014 7pm EST, you can't stretch it past the deadline to get the good deal. The mystery coupons are worth anywhere from 5-15% so I lucked out to get one with the 15% off. They only offer this deal about once a year, so you have to strike fast if you need a PC or laptop.
-
They offer it at least two times per year. Last year after Black Friday, they had a Mystery Coupon sale up to 30% off.
That just shows how much these systems are marked up. -

The thing that really bugs me about these 'mystery codes' is that they only work if you are in the US - at least the last time I tried to use one, that was the case. Do Dell really think that their only market is at home??? - surely it would not take too much effort to make these codes globally acceptable across all Dell regions.......
Min-rant over! -
Another thing that bothers me about them is that they release them right before a refresh. Do you wait on the 860m in the 14 ( because you really need portability and not a DTR) or do you use the 20% now on a new 17/18 powerhouse which still underperforms compared to the previous gens. Ugh

Another crappy thing about the codes is that there's only X amount of each percentage. They are not "newly generated" every time you try it with your email. They're pulled from a group of codes that already exist each time you enter a new email, and are good until redeemed. So, more than one person can get each code, and whomever claims it first, wins.
If you get a 15% off promotional coupon code do not wait around! Someone else may have gotten the same code.steviejones133 likes this. -

True, Bro - not gonna whine about UK prices though. Still, you'd think that because of those high prices (not just the UK, but other Countries as well) it would have been better for Dell to roll out those discounts across the board. I really don't see why they cannot. What you mention about the codes also sucks.....
As for the timing of these 'mystery giveaways', they always appear to coincide with a refresh - basically Dell's way of having a 'clear out' if you like.....I can see the sense in that and I appreciate that it would NOT be good business sense to time these codes with a new arrival. 30% off a newly launched product? - maybe hell would freeze over first LOL. -
Are these mystery codes available/usable in Canada? I thought they were last time around but I can't find anywhere to get one or redeem one. I get the Dell emails so I should have received one?
