They have the M15x and M17x as filter options, and some systems show up. No M11x though.

Also, these filter options appear when you are browsing systems, but not on the front page, which is awkward.

Easiest way out of my own experience.

Build the PC you want, and add it to the shopping cart.

Call them, and put a phone order. Tell them you have a PC in your shopping cart (create an account for yourself), and that you will pay with a non-us card.

After putting the purchase, they will put you through to the payment verification department. Have at least 2 emails handy, and the name, address and date of birth of the person signing to receive the laptop.

    Wait :)

If they accept APO/FPO addresses (I believe they do), check out HopShopGo.com. They are actually cheaper than MyUS.com and don't charge you to keep an account with them.

Also be aware that there might be issues with warranty if you buy through a courier as Dell issues an invoice in their name not yours. However Dell supports ownership transfer. Something you might get your courier to do for you.

You can buy it from HIDevolution and they will do a warranty transfer. Contact Ted.
However, to get international warranty, you need to buy at least 3 years advance warranty (i am not sure if basic count as well)

    Canadian always get ripped :(

    They lied to you.

You do not need a 3 year warranty. This has been confirmed ;)

The reps just want to make a cut out of the warranty they sell you.

They're big liars and deceivers who should be fired for saying that.

My M11X, with the standard 1 year, purchased in the US (I actually went to Niagara Falls, NY. to grab it) was successfully transferred by filling out an online form.

If you live near the NY border, buy US, have it shipped to CBI USA, and pick it up in Niagara Falls, NY. They charge 7.95$ per item and hold it for several weeks. I paid US price for the laptop ;)

Yea, you don't need 3 years at all. They should not get away with lying.

Where can I find some big discount coupons for alienware laptops, except dell or alienware web site? I really need a good discount for m17x because when I customize it, its price is going up and up :)

Look at the europe and you'll see that you are not so ripped, in europe 1$ = 1€... for exemple, the m14x base is 1199$ in USA, in europe m14x is 1199€, we don't have coupons, we don't have nameplates and sometimes we have less options than in USA... Considering the US dollar is 0.70 compared to the euro... Now I think you see who is ripped xD

From my part, the EU Dell reps get ripped, because if I ever order an AW it's through HID. Apart from all the above, here in Portugal you have to buy AWs through FNAC (a retail chain) which charges something like 50€ extra on top of EU prices (for example, a M11x R2 is 220€ more than a M11x R3 in the US, both with base specs). Plus the warranty is much worse (2 years mail-in).

Well, because the original post was removed :)

Also I asked by chat a Dell representative and got told they don't sell to mail forwarding services... or we could just use them without them knowing it is one. Will it be a problem hm?

PS: thanks I will check the new outside link now.

Excuse me, I dont understand what does international card mean? I'm from Russia, I have Mastercard Debit card from my Bank(sberbank). How can I decide: is my card international or no? I use paypal with ebay without any problems.
P.S. Will dell.com work with entropay virtual visa card?

I posted a thread on Dell's IdeaStorm website about this problem, although only specific to the Dell Outlet. IMO the Dell Outlet is more of a problem regarding international sales because AFAIK there are two outlets: in the US and in the UK. This shuts down most all of continental Europe, Latin America, Asia, etc.

What I propose there is basically that Dell should ship Outlet systems internationally, automatically transferring the warranty to the destination country, and offering to replace the keyboard with a keyboard of the appropriate language (for a price).

If you guys want to say to Dell that they should ship Outlet systems internationally, commenting on that thread and voting it up (if you approve) or down (if you don't) is a good place to start. Don't let the "acknowledged" tag discourage you from commenting/rating that thread; it means only that this idea has entered this system, but it doesn't mean that someone actually looked at it.

I am planning to get M4600 from US as well.
    Any Luck in getting through?

I faced the same issue - no mail forwarding services and only allow US-Billing address.

Hi, I'm from hk and buying Alienware from hk costs 16000 while getting it from the us costs 13-14k, without tax and shipping. Do you still think it is more worth it to get it from hk?

Wow this is a long dead thread. Does anyone know why the OP had removed the original posts information?
I am in Canada and I want to order from the Dell US because they have better promotions and deals than the current ones available here. Is it possible to have an Alienware ordered from the US and delivered to Canada without being directed to Dell Canada?
