Dammit Cool, I apologize. I may have, and likely, edited the inf with 4k support and accidentally uploaded it. :( I'll upload the other tonight.

Edit: I'll try from work if not blocked by a firewall.

Look what CooL is trying to get running :)

He (still) has 32bit AND the scaling issu^^ So, NO there isn't a solution for 32bit and m17^^

Good and bad news. You can install these drivers the old way. Download the whole ATI package, modify the files and drop the infs in the correct folder. Display driver AND CCC will both install correctly. But the scaling issue is still there :(

Edit: rumors say the new AW2 driver will give you the ccc you need^^

You are right you only have the ccc from 9.3 but may be you can install the "driver part" after ccc^^ try it out :)

The picture shows you how it looks on W7^^ (but the drivernumber is equal on Vista and W7)

Just go to devicemanager an retry the "have disk" method (pictured guid on page 1)

    Greetings
    Julian

Ok so which one of these do I use or do I need to use both? C7_77072.inf or CH_76829.inf It states that I now have 8.591.0.0 but like where yours says E-wrecked Bored Mod v3...mine states Ati Technologies Inc. What have I done wrong... I did replace the driver with the C7_77072,inf like the first page of this but my still reads ATI not e-wrecked!!

Ok so now I have it where it states e-wrecked bored mod v3 and 8.591.0.0 but now I have no CCC like in the first page of this but I am unclear how to reintall it? Do I have to replace the C7_77072.inf again or what!! Please help!!

I tried to intall CCC through the C:ATi/..../setup.exe and it goes throught the install and I reboot and then nothing I get this error!!

Could not load file or assembly 'MOM.Implementatation' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

    This is an ATI Error

You will need to download tha stand alone CCC, sometimes 9.3 ccc works (e.g. for MR:Moo) but normaly you need the stand alone CCC (you can find it where you found the full driver) of the version which run perfectly on your system.

The way i did it and it work (have in mind that for me there was still a scaling issue after i did the installation) is to download the full package. Mod them with mobility modder, then replace the two infs with E's ones.

After that run the setup.exe and do a custom installation, that way its easy to see if it will allow you to install ccc or not depending if its on the list.

Using that steps i managed to install 9.3 and CCC without using two different installers or standalone setups. Just wish there was a way to fix the scaling problem :(

I must be doing something wrong because I am not allowed to install a new ccc...what I get is the catalyst install manager and the catalyst registration...no ccc...I have downloaded 9.2 and 9.3 and it does not seem to load the ccc or give me that option!!

Did you mod the files with mobility modder ? If you did and it still doesnt work you can always download the E's 9.1 drivers and install only the CCC from that package.

I guess I don't get how to install the CCC after I have installed the driver in device manager...instructions on first page as to install CCC is very vauge. I have tried many different versions and none give me the option to install the CCC.

Download the newest package from ATI's web site. Extract them in c:\ati. Download and install mobility modder. Run mobility modder and choose the folder in c:\ati. Give it half a minute to modify the files. After that download the modded .inf E made and replace the .infs.

After that just run the setup and check if you can install CCC.

You can always download http://ewrecked.darksmileysystems.com/E-wrecked9_1_32bitVista.zip and install only the CCC from it without following the above steps since those files are already modded (if you are running 32bit).
