The funny part is that -- yes, there is a screw that holds the card in place. Which gave me exactly that impression that it's replaceable. While it is replaceable, you'd have to fight with the strips beneath it. With the way I was trying to remove it, I was afraid I'd actually break the WiFi Card along with the slot.

Even then, would my 7260 AC be compatible? Maybe. Would it be worth the effort and risk of damaging something? Absolutely not.

Oh how I miss the modularity of the previous gen AWs. But, enough of the soapbox. Killer Management Software sucks.

Does anybody have a fix for the killer 1103 dropping out in windows 7? I've tried every driver revision I could find. Dell's stock drivers, the reference atheros drivers, the latest drivers off killergaming's website. Tried with two different cards, and anytime I use high bandwidth, the conneciton drops and shows "limited or no connectivity" for about a minute or so before reconnecting. Any fix?

The best cure for the 1103 is a Killer 1202 or Intel Ultimate-N 6300. I don't remember seeing reports of anyone getting the 1103 to work correctly over the long haul. I think just about everyone has switched them out for something that works correctly.

Edit 1: I forgot about some settings that may help. Let me see if I can find the link to it again.

@Raidriar - have you already tried going into the WiFi (Device Manager) adapter properties -> advanced -> scroll down to WMM and set to disabled?

Edit 2: Found it. See post #145 in this thread.

Yes I know, I was using an atheros AR9280 for the longest time which worked fantastic, but I wanted something to make use of the third antenna, so I guess it will be the Intel 6300. I wasn't able to find all of those settings, but I changed those that I was able to find.

Update. Tried those settings, didn't work. What a fricken shame. I have the full sized (not half) version of this card, the AR9380, and it was an absolute beast of a card. This half height version is so fundamentally broken.

Isn't the Killer 1525 using M.2 while the Intel AC 7260 is mini-pcie anyway ?

Correct. Killer 1525 is NGFF M2 and the Intel 7260 is half mini pcie.

When are you going to bring us good news for the PS3/PS4/Vita? :p

Seems like a technology trend... smaller = broken/inferior almost 100% of the time.

Nah ! I am officially "retired" from the console scenes (Read: I am not a student anymore and my job is way too time consuming) xD

Besides, what good is it to run unsigned code on a ps4 when it's just an x86 architecture running freebsd with tons of DRMs.

I wish I had more time to look into these systems though but nowadays it's kind of difficult for me.
