    Dell's Signature Event is a 7 day sale from Sept. 10-16 so they'll release the new M15x after that on the 17th.

    I was really hoping that this landfall event was going to be revealed today announcing that the M17x now has the 4870's as an option. Then tomorrow we would get a deal with that configuration, but that was just getting my hopes up :(

    you gotta think reverse psychology here. maybe they* want us to THINK they are going to release the new lineup today because its 09/09/09, BUT in actuality they release it the day AFTER to trick us all out. they would do that.

    we never found out one way or the other if the blackbolt hulk beat was a skrul, as the invasion etc happened after. :p

    was just on the site and was like "holy sh*t" when the laptops page loaded cause 4 popped up and I was hoping it was the m15x.

    Hmmmm...looks like I was wrong about 9/9/9. Would have made perfect sense for them to release something today.

    Regardless, I guess I will just wait to see what this sale is like. I need to get a new laptop relatively quickly, I'm still unsure if I should jump on the M17x sale or wait and see what they come out with. I guess I can wait until the end of the month though.

    Dell does these deals quite a bit.

    If you'll remember the "10 days of deals" event not too long ago.

    I don't think it will be announced until after the event, IMO.

    Dell/AW gave themselves much more leeway by saying "Landfall is expected in days" instead of having a countdown like the M17x.
