    I think the 3d06 scores should be a little higher not sure check if the video driver is installed.

    of course it is installed, keep in mind that i am using 2.26ghz cpu
    ****, this keyboard is smooth. lol..

    but the number pad is weird, take a look of ENTER and the decimal.

    Is that a crack on the quick press button strip? 2nd picture, upper left corner of the picture, looks like a crack, maybe a hair.

    Nice looking laptop, thanks for the pics and info. Also, you should be able to press (See, I said FN) + F10 to change keyboard colors, but I;m not sure AW set it up that way, anyways, +rep, and thanks again.

    First Upgrade am doing is get the 4GB of DDR3 Ram then in the future I will be getting the Processor upgrade maybe santa gives it to me :)

    Anyways good deal, I'll be getting my m15x here in a year of 3, (supposedly a week, yeah right), and I've heard stories of people getting their systems with scratches and stuff, so I'm some what worried, ha.

    how do i know CF is running?

    It seems that CF is not running in several information programs.
    They see 2 graphic calls, but no CF info.

    Update, nvm, it's vista64 which makes programs can't tell if it's cf or not.

    bad news guys, I was doing the benchmark for coh, the temp of the gpu goes to 110 celcius. Insane. It stutters during benchmark.

    109 degrees is definitely an unhealthy temperature for the GPU. Could it be that you received a defective one?

    Fusion, Try this... place a CD cover underneath both sides in the back, than try running it again, and see if you notice any change in temps.

    The problem is, there is not enough clearance between the bottom of the laptop to get proper airflow.

    I suspect it's the thermal pad problem, because the air blowing out is not close to 50 degree hot. My M1730 and M1710's air is way hotter than that when the GPU temp is like at 70 degree.

    After 1.3 hrs on the phone with AW tech (he has tons of patience), we agree that I should test more through out the week until some game lock up, blue screen, or lag, then they are going to replace something. What are they going to replace? Don't know yet.

    Will update the review after more testing.

    I have a problem, there is this fake bright pixel that appears right after boot up.
    It's fake, because it appears after some service is loaded and I can't get it out, and even a screenshot can see it.
